Nidhi Kamath
FounderNidhi Kamath is a non-fiction filmmaker, who hails from Baroda, Gujarat. She has been making various short films about themes like crafts of India and artisans since 2013. She is passionate about exploring more themes like environment, girl child education, climate action etc. She sees film making as a super power to create a difference in the world and wants to be mindful about the topics she chooses to make films on. She is the founder of Indigo Reels company and previously had also co-founded Storyloom Films. Under which they had made the National Award winning documentary “Weaves of Maheshwar” which talked about the craft revival of Maheshwari saris. She is an alumni of Indian Institute of Crafts and Design and has been a Tata Travel grant recipient, People’s Archive of Rural India fellow and British Council’s Crafting Futures India fellow. When she is not working she likes to play with her street dogs and guinea pigs. She also loves reading books of non-fiction genre her current favourite book is Kaizen by Dr. Robert Maurer. She loves watching shows on Apple TV + and is really inspired by the documentaries which features Sir David Attenborough. Her ultimate goal is to make films which have a tangible impact on the society and environmental at large. To make impact based films which create a difference.

Rahul Gautaum
FounderRahul Gautam is an alumni of BITS Pilani, Prague Film School where over a period of three years Rahul specialized in Producing, Directing, Cinematography and editing . He has worked with cinematographer Binod Pradhan on Kalank and Chalaang. Rahul and Nidhi have been working together since 2017 to create award winning films and documentaries for brands like Architectural Digest and Sarmaya Art Foundation.With fourteen years experience in multimedia film-making, he founded Z-Axis Productions in 2021.
Shashwat Das
CinematographerShashwat Das is Cinematographer and Filmmaker based out of Delhi. Currently Shashwat is pursuing a career in filmmaking working on both independent films and simultaneously creating a niche in producing commercials documentary projects for organizations like AIIMS, Qualcomm, Gates Foundation to name amongst others. Shashwat and Nidhi have been collaborating since 2021 to create short films and documentaries for brands like Good Earth.
Sanjana Vasudevan
Film EditorSanjana Vasudevan is an editor based out of Mumbai. Having graduated with a specialization in Film Editing from Whistling Woods International, she has been working in the Indian Film industry now, for the last 6 years. She has explored the craft through feature films both fiction and non-fiction, advertisements, corporate films and various shorts. She also has collaborated with brands like Vice Media, Innayath Jewellery, Red Bull, Smashbox Cosmetics and others alike. Recently also collaborated with Indigo Reels for 4 upcoming short films for a home décor brand and is currently transitioning to become a full time independent Editor in the industry.
Divya Khanna
Creative & Research AssistantDivya is a Fashion & Textile design graduate and enjoys craft and communication. She is a passionate learner and enjoys the interdisciplinary nature of the field of design. She dances her way out of challenges with a cup of chai in her hands. Divya also has her own small business called Oranged, where she makes hand painted clay accessories. At Indigo Reels, she contributes as a Creative & Research Assistant. She creates visuals for social media and handles design research for our projects.
Avani Desai
Graphic Designer & Social Media ManagementAvani is a Graphic Designer based out of Vadodara. Having graduated from Fine Arts and Post Grad in Arts Management, she works on designs that create visual identity for brands and how it would reflect on their social media. She has been working in the industry for 10 years. Avani has worked with many startups in Vadodara as a creative director and manages their brands visually. Avani is also the one who made the logo for Indigo Reels and is their graphic designer and also manages their social media.
